Why a Retreat?

Every once in a while we all need some time to disconnect. The noise of life can become overwhelming. That’s where the value of a spiritual retreat comes in.

A retreat is a time of quiet reflection and prayer, away from the daily routine, to examine one’s life in the presence of Jesus Christ: to review what is going well, to plan what needs to change, and to make resolutions and begin again.

What does it consist of?

Retreats at Roseaire are traditional, silent retreats, preached by priests of Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church.

For those who wish to attend, the retreat includes Holy Mass, meditations given by a priest, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, and oration of the rosary. The priests are available to hear individual confessions as well as for personal spiritual guidance.

All meals are served family style. Certain medical diets can be accommodated but should be cleared in advance with the staff.
